A New Story for the Holidays: A Serene Adventure Christmas
Juust uploaded a few moments ago, I’ve been working on A Serene Adventure Christmas for over a year. As mentioned in the full summary it’s the sequel to Countdown to 2012, which has been on hiatus for nearly a year. Obviously I did not finish the latter in time for yesterday, which some people thought would be the end of the world. Eventually I will finish THAT story don’t worry.
Now to this one.
In the aftermath of the Cataclysm that reshaped the world, The Toss Family realizes Christmas is in three days. When the subject of Santa Claus comes up, Leon and Angel end up leading some of the younger members of the family on a trip to the North Pole. Ted’s reaction to the question of weather St. Nick reveals the moment in time Ted’s latent powers were first awakened. Now that he is Earth’s Eternal Champion Ted plans to settle the score with Santa Claus–personally. When Angel and Aeris learn the truth about the Legend of Santa Claus they decide to defend the North Pole from Ted. With an unlikely ally on their side the stage is set for a thrill battle on the roof of the world.
…That’s all I’m saying without revealing too much. I’ve written the first two chapters so far. I hope to have it done before next summer. In the meantime, feel free to check out my existing Christmas Stories:
- In Christmas Family Matters Marie Kwan travels back in time to witness first hand the source of the relgious side of the holiday.
- Marie is joined by her niece Aeris Garcia (Celes’ daughter) in her trip back to the events of The Nativity in The Night That Christ was Born.
Both are pretty good reads based on some of the feedback I’ve gotten!
